I am the fortunate mother of one beautiful young girl, and I love her to bits!
However, since she was no older than 1-2 years old, this gorgeous girl has refused point blank to wear anything like girlie clothes, neither dresses, nor skirts nor anything frilly, pretty, pink or in any way feminine has she sported, except under duress..... Needless to say photo opportunities for a pretty pinky, girly scrapbook page are few and far between.
Fortunately on this occasion way back in 2001 I had both camera, charged batteries and space on the SD card, to snap the memorable event when she consented (however reluctantly) to wear a pretty summer dress.
Having found the most gorgeous paper in the right tones last week, I was more than happy to put the page together tonight.
Here she is in all her splendour:
Background paper: Rouge de Garance, deep purple bazzil for accent, hearts and flowers and title lettering in purple cut with the Hippie chick alphabet set for the Cuttlebug, Toga template for the 'frame', lime green Prima bitty flowers, Fairy stamp from La CDE, mat DCWV Metallic stack in pink
